just want to say, as someone who works with coffee and that it is the current "in" thing to say that the beans are Fair Trade, F.T. is only the beginning. It is a good starting place, but it isn't the curative to the growers that many pundits claim it to be.

What's worrying me a little is that the big boys - eg Nestle are jumping on the bandwagon. I just don't understand how they can work that - choosing who they give a fair price to for coffee. Something doesn't seem to add up....

But, where else are you going to shop? Everything else is going out of business!
There's a similar debate been going on in the UK recently about whether the increase in supermarkets coupled with their stocking wider ranges of goods (eg electrical items) is going to put small corner shops and specialist shops out of business.
One theory goes that they'll put all the small competition out of business by grossly undercutting prices and using 'loss leaders' then when the small ones are gone, they will hike their prices.
FHN most of the gifts in our shop are shipped in from the USA - but most of them are made in China!

I'm with DB74 on this one.
There are too many 'circumstances' but not enough hard evidence to prove foul play.
As to whether a muslim can become monarch, I don't think they can at the moment, it's written into the constitution. Neither can Roman Catholics become monarchs (I think this is still in force) but anyway, had it happened (a very remote possibility as slugga has explained), Dodi would only have been a Prince Consort like Philip is now.

Most here are ex-JW's, some are still 'in' but have learnt to think for themselves!
Then there's a few JW's who are trying to convert everyone back to the 'truth' Plus a few seriously 'fundie, born-agains' trying to convert us all to the 'real truth'
Others like yourself have family and/or friends who are in the JW's and still others have no connections. So yes, I guess it does look confusing!!
Important thing is that it's a great place to find support and get your questions answered. Have a good look around and enjoy your stay
